We had a special episode of TWiST this week, shot on Monday instead of Friday, thanks to Lockhart Steele (CEO of Curbed.com) being in LA and deciding to stop by.
And remember, we won’t be having an episode this Friday (that’s the one we shot today), but we’ll be back May 22nd, with a brand new live episode at the normal 1pm time.
And as always, a huge thank you to our wonderful sponsors, Ustream and DNAMail

Would be nice with a direct link to the mp3 as opera mini does not render the flash widget.
[...] (Das normalerweise im letzten Absatz bezieht sich auf die Tatsache, dass diese Woche keine Sendung mehr aufgezeichnet wird, weil die Aufzeichnung diesmal ausnahmsweise schon am Montag stattfand.) [...]
Love the show.
Interesting conversation on the evolution of LS doing the Hampton’s mag, joining Gawker, starting up Curbed, raising his first money etc. Nice insights on the flow of things.
As a related guest suggestion: what are the chances of having Nick Denton sitting down here?
In addition, how about (one of) 8020 Media’s co-founders Paul Cloutier & Derek Powazek? Could be very interesting stuff about JPG Magazine, what worked, didn’t etc.
Looking forward to the next shows! Best,
M

Great interview. It’s great how comfortable you guys are and feels like you just saddled up to the bar for a chat considering the similar paths you followed and how small the blogging world inside of NYC was a few short years ago.
Jason, this show is pure gold! Every episode is fascinating, it’s become one of my regular podcasts, up there with TWiT, Bloomberg and No Agends, just after 3 episodes.
As a British listener, I particularly enjoy the unbridled enthusiasm and optimism, which is often so hard to find here in the UK.
Keep up the good work, you’re onto another winner.
jason – you missed your calling (or maybe you’ve just found it)
you are the next charlie rose!
Loving the show so far! It is giving me a great deal of insight into how things really work in the start-up world
Great show, iphones are bundled here in Ireland. Totally agree with you on the Short Term / Long term strategy. I’m not with their preferred network and therefore haven’t ever had an iphone.
re:apple iphone bundling : spot on.
Fantastic show! Lockhart I love your approach to real estate from a publishers perspective.
