Another week, another bonus episode! On Tuesday, Jason was joined by Mark Goulston, author of his fifth book, “Just Listen”. Mark is the guy Jason turns to when he needs guidance on workplace issues and it’s easy to see why. Check out the full episode to see what Mark has to say about how to keep your workplace running smooth and keeping everyone happy (and productive!)
Also, remember, we’ll be live from New Noise Santa Barbara on Friday @ 1pm, so make sure to tune in right here.

Incredible episode. I was so absorbed into this one.
Amazing episode. I’ve seen them all and this is certainly one of the best. Highly recommend!
Well done on this project. Love the niche focused content all around startups and the lessons we can learn from them. One tip to make it better, put a summary of the lessons learned underneath the video. Sometimes I don’t have 30+ minutes to watch the whole video so a summary of key points would be very useful. Keep up the good work.
Jason, I enjoy your interviews and generally enjoy you talk. But if there was one tip–you talk too much in these interviews:( Give more speaking time to the speaker. We hear you talk all the time all over the place but that is usually not true of your special speakers;)
can’t add much to what the guys above me already wrote. A must see.

I agree that generation Y are not as motivated by success for the sake of success. I think gen Y seeks to pursue meaning, and when they discover their passion, they are as driven as anyone.
This is not a comment on the episode, I’m just wondering why non-TWIST videos keep showing up in the iTunes feed. There was a rather strange one featuring Kevin Pollock a few weeks ago, and now I am apparently downloading “Bibliotech Episode 13 with Margaret Atwood”.
It would be much appreciated if you could keep the feed “clean” – maybe you’ve used iTunes and know what a pain it is to NOT download something you’ve subscribed to. Also, as I’m downloading the video, the file is quite large and we should keep the intertubes unclogged.
Love the show, love the sponsors.

Good episode. Provides a lot of reflection about management of people and workplace issues pertaining to a start-up. From being the employee in a start-up and also a employer now, I find that this episode has offered me some thoughts on how we should talk to people and manage them.

I listen to this twice so I could take notes the second time. Outstanding.

Great stuff guys, thank you
Wow, great episode. I’m a bit behind and catching up, and this was by far the best. I could listen to Mark Goulston talk forever–you are fortunate to have him as a mentor.
…and we are fortunate to have you introduce him to us.
