TWiST #29 with Jim Lanzone

On this episode of This Week In Startups, Jason is joined by Jim Lanzone, former CEO of Ask.com and now current CEO of Clicker. Clicker brings together a wide array of programming from traditional television to web originals. The site could quite possibly be the next gen version of TV guide with features such as listings, recommendations, show infos, and live streaming clips of the shows of your choice. Jason digs deep and chats with Jim about their debut at TechCrunch 50 to what the future holds for, what could be, a site that will integrate with people, families worldwide and become a household name.

  1. Here is an insight from Molly! “Bay Bridge”? You need to go to the kids school! Its the Sydney Harbor Bridge sometimes called the “Coat hanger”.
(NB. I only listen to the show so I assume you were talking about the Harbor Bridge Walk photos you guys took over here)

PS. Still pushing for the Full “insights from Tyler” theme once a show! Even better, give Tyler his own show!!!!

  2. Adam says:

Did you change the format in iTunes? I wasn’t able to copy it to my iPhone and it looks like the format is different than the other episodes.

  3. Ted says:

Ditto Adam’s concerns. This episode was encoded in a format that can’t be sync’d to the iPhone/iPod :-( Please post a version that I’ll be able to watch :-)

  4. Chris says:

Yea I spent a while mucking around confused and scratching my head as to why it would’nt load on my iPhone , so had to settle for the audio only version
