  1. Really a great improvement in download speed, very fast for me in Europe…good job!

  2. k says:

There’s something wrong with the video, Jason mentioned Eagle, the CEO who killed himself and within a minute the video collapsed.
It jumped back to the beginning. I can restart the video but not where it stopped working.

  3. Emily says:

Do you remember the time stamp on the video when it jumped back?

  4. Saad says:

I keep having the same problem, it keeps cutting out at different points – the problem is with the video player, instead of trying and reconnoitering with the video file after a lost connection it just times out and stops buffering. Can you upload it the video to youtube? (or vimeo)

  5. Mashuu says:

About the founder compensation, it is basically what the founder would do in an average 9 to 5 gig on an annualy basis? i.e. 50k for an entry level engineering job for a first time founder at angel level.

I ask because I was considering the equivalent of minimum wage.

  6. Jason says:

    SHOW NOTES!!
    SHOW NOTES!!
    SHOW NOTES!!

Can someone start at 00:00 and make show notes… go as far as you want and save your comment every 20 minutes or so. Scott will then put YOUR SHOW NOTES in the blog post above!

    so something like this:

    00:00 Open Credits
00:01 Jason welcomes folks to the show, asks Tyler if he is ok since he is skyping into the show.
00:05 SXSW TWiST show is announced by Jason. Special thanks to Bing and Sonos for sponsoring the show.

you get the idea…. take notes for everyone else!!!

  7. Saad says:

Darn, Jason I saw your comment after I was almost done watching the video: I wrote the notes from that point on, someone needs to fill in the begining half:

02:10:51 fiverr job board for jobs worth $5

02:11:45 lon’s Question: Is this a good idea?
02:12:00 Jason: It’s very fun, and it internet rewards that.

    02:14:00 Conclusion.

If no one writes out the rest, I will finish it after my midterm this week.

  8. I kinda hate the ‘video clips with music’ like ’sharktank’ and the intro. They are much louder than Jason is… add absolutely no value. Seem just a bit tacky.

  9. Love the show but hate the bouncing levels.

Audio levels are up and down across all the segments and between shows there’s a huge difference. Listening to two in a row sometimes requires ripping headphones off to avoid ear damage!

I’m not an expert but don’t you just need to use compressors and watch the in and out levels to get the peaks right?

It would be the best next thing to add to the great show IMHO

  10. Howard mentioned a startup incubator called something like “Dream it”, anybody got it? What was he talking about?
