    Thanks Jason for answering my question(s). Great insight as always. I truly believe that hearing about Startups and when they succeed/fail on Twist (and via other mediums) provides a great opportunity to learn and grow as an Entrepreneur / Founder / Startup. I agree, based on everything that I have read, that they created a great product and that people really enjoyed being ZA’s.

    I think the key points here are to remember that your Investors are on your side and that if you need help / insight / advice its better to speak to them too early, than too late. Perhaps some Founders/CEO’s fear what may come from voicing concerns to people who have trusted in them/invested in them, but at the end of the day if something needs to be fixed why not draw on the knowledge and wisdom of all those around you.

    I also agree that the employees themselves could have been a great source of information. With their ear to the ground so to speak they may very well have come across new ideas, additional information or feedback that suggests a higher price point would have been easily accepted by their clients.

    I will continue to follow this story and see what transpires with the acquisition and how the company emerges at the other end as there seems to be a great deal of debate on where employees or contractors is the best approach and what the impact of their of those decisions are on the business, as well as the perception of that business in the community.
